Many Marian University business students enhance their degree with the Professional Selling specialization to increase career opportunities. Some highlights of adding the professional selling specialization are: 

  • Expert faculty: Learn from nationally recognized coaches like Dr. Lori Rumreich and Executive-in-Residence Robert Kubacki, who bring industry experience leading sales teams and managing CRM systems. 
  • Industry connections: Partner with companies like Enterprise Mobility and Fastenal through class visits, competitions, and internships. 
  • Experiential learning: Train in Marian’s digital sales lab and gain hands-on experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, industry certifications, and AI tools, while completing at least one sales-focused internship. 
  • Competitions: Compete in national and global events, such as the IU National Team Selling Competition, AMA Individual Role Play Competition, and Fastenal National Sales Invitational. 
  • Student organizations:

Join Women in Business, or American Marketing Association, or Society for Human Resource Management to attend workshops, networking events, and competitions like the annual Perfect Pitch Competition. 

What you’ll learn
