Human Flourishing Scholarly Learning Community

The Human Flourishing Scholarly Learning Community is led by Scholar-in-Residence Dr. Kirsten Guidero. It seeks to connect students, faculty, staff, and community members with each other as we pursue meaningful human lives. Guided by Marian’s Franciscan values of peace and justice, human dignity, reconciliation, and responsible stewardship, we develop interdisciplinary responses to the question of what it means to flourish, both within our local context as well as globally. In our research, writing, creative work, discussions, and community life, we explore what flourishing entails, we search for models to emulate, and we practice their examples together.

For more information, please contact Dr. Guidero at kguidero@marian.edu.
