How to Use the Assets

Webex Background
  • Download the .png file from the folder above
  • Open your Webex app or browser → Settings → Video → Background
  • Click + Add → upload the file → select Apply
  • If the background appears mirrored: Video → uncheck "Mirror my video view"
Email Signature
  • Download the .png file
  • In Outlook: Go to your account/settings → Signatures
  • Insert the photo → resize to fit nicely with your signature text
LinkedIn Header Photo (Banner)
  • Go to your LinkedIn profile
  • Click the pencil/camera icon on your current banner
  • Select "Change photo" → upload the new image
  • Apply/save changes

* Please note that MarCom does not have a photographer on staff. We can help identify and hire a contract photographer or determine if a MarCom team member is available with a two-week minimum notice.

Website Update

Our biggest and most utilized marketing tool is the website.

Digital Signs

The Office of Marketing and Communications can post your message on digital signs located throughout campus.

Digital signs will run for 2-3 days before the event. We cannot isolate messages to one building or screen.

Tip Three: Gather Your Materials

You can attach documents, photos, and other files directly to the request form. If you need help finding photos or securing content, just let us know.

Requests from students require an additional approval from a staff or faculty member. Provide the name and email of a staff or faculty member, or have them submit the request on your behalf.
