MU-COM utilizes the central application system for osteopathic medicine (AACOMAS) and only accepts primary applications from AACOMAS. Applicants can find application instructions online and submit an application by going to aacom.org.
Using a holistic philosophy the admissions team will review application materials to see how an applicant's characteristics and interest align with MU-COM's mission.
MU-COM accepts advanced placement credit as long as such credit appears on the undergraduate transcript and indicates either specific subject credit (e.g. Organic General Chemistry - 4 units) or specific course credit (e.g. Chemistry 101 - 4 units). General advanced placement credit without such specifications is not accepted. Credit from CLEP examinations are not accepted.
MU-COM does not allow substitutes for required courses.
Visit the Admissions section for important information about the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program.
