Felicia Stewart, DNP-FNP-C

Biography

Dr. Felicia Stewart has 29 years of nursing experience, nearly half of which have been as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Indiana State University in 2012 and has worked in graduate nursing academia ever since. She continues to maintain clinical practice experience part-time as a family nurse practitioner for ProactiveMD and most recently was the FNP program director at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in west central Indiana. Also a board-certified faith community nurse, she has an interest in the intersection of spiritual and physical health. Additionally, her scholarly efforts focus on topics in primary care; service learning; intercultural competency, diversity, and inclusion; and stress management/mindfulness strategies. In her free time, Dr. Stewart enjoys travel (for pleasure or mission), reading, theatre, music, and relaxing with her two canine companions, Dixie and Lily.
