Advanced Topics in Ethics & Compliance Management

This is a 6-course certification for the mid to upper-level ethics and compliance manager. The goals of the certification are to facilitate critical thinking in priority areas of ethics and compliance and to provide a forum for ongoing exploration, dialogue, and networking.

Each course will be taught by subject matter experts in the field hailing from corporations and academia. Each course will have 2 sessions of 2-3 hours each. Each session will be separated by 2-3 weeks to allow for a group project between sessions. 4 hours of continuing education will be granted for each course completed. (required paperwork and submission of CE hours is the responsibility of the student)

The certification will next be offered beginning in the spring 2022 semester as a Continuing Education program of Marian University. The courses will be repeated approximately 2x/year. Check back for future dates.

Networking and expanding your circle of compliance and ethics colleagues is key component of the certification. For this reason, we recommend committing to the full series of courses, ending with the Capstone course. However, if you cannot complete all six courses in sequence, do not worry! You may take the Capstone with at least 3 of the other 5 courses completed. You may take missed courses in subsequent offerings.

Priority registration will be given to those who have completed earlier courses in the sequence. Each course will be limited to no more than 20 students.
