Marian's close-nit community helps Htoo build relationships with classmates and faculty.

Htoo Thu, a biology major with a concentration in Spanish, put what she learned at Marian University to good use during a study abroad trip to Chile.  She completed clinical observations at a hospital in Santiago.

I wanted a school with a close-knit community where I could build relationships with classmates and faculty. Marian University offers that. Marian also offers service learning opportunities, which I wanted to be able to continue in college."
