Dean's Welcome

Greg Rawski, Ph.D.

In Marian University’s School of Business, students receive an exceptional education in the Franciscan tradition — one that prepares you not just for success, but for purpose-driven leadership in your career and community.

You’ll work with peers, professors, and regional business leaders to apply what you learn, building innovative solutions to real-world challenges. Located just minutes from downtown Indianapolis, Marian offers unparalleled access to one of the nation’s fastest-growing business hubs and home to companies such as Eli Lilly, Ernst & Young, Salesforce, Old National Bank, Rolls-Royce, Cummins, and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Through these close ties with industry leaders, Fortune 500 corporations, and start-up innovators, you’ll gain valuable experience through internships, mentorships, and professional networking throughout the city.

Additionally, students have the opportunity to compete — and win — at the highest level. Our students won the National Team Selling Championship (2024), CFA State Championship (2022), and placed third in the AMA Case Competition sponsored by Wall Street Journal (2023).

Business students have outstanding career outcomes. Every student completes at least one internship, and our graduates report an average starting salary of $61,968.

You’ll find that Marian is more than a place to learn — it’s a community that feels like home. Our students have big hearts, collaborate generously, and care deeply about others. We are an academic family rooted in shared values.

When you tour campus, please stop by the School of Business Dean’s Office. I would love to meet you and welcome you to Marian University.
