Academic Policies Committee Procedures

Proposal Review and Approval Timeline for Inclusion into the Catalog

Curriculum proposals submitted, reviewed, and approved during the current Jan 1 – December 31 year will be finalized and published in the next academic year catalog.
For example, all curriculum proposals submitted, reviewed, and approved from January 1, 2022 – December 31, 2022 will be included in the 2023-2024 catalog of programs.

The Registrar’s Office will use February, March, and April of each year to finalize the catalog and update degree audit data in MUHUB prior to the first New Student Orientation in May.

Academic Policies Committee Forms

The curriculum proposal form is built within the digital forms system. All proposals require the originator of the proposal to upload attachments that provide the details of the proposed curriculum changes to the submission form. Use the example documents below to submit “catalog ready” curriculum information.
