  • National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA): One of the most commonly desired certifications
  • Personal trainer: There are several nationally-recognized certifications available
  • Fitness Specialist

American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM):

  • Certified exercise physiologist
  • Certified clinical exercise physiologist
  • Registered clinical exercise physiologist
