Partners

Marian University has worked tirelessly to cultivate partners for the College of Osteopathic Medicine (MU-COM). In 2010, the university received a lead gift from Michael A. Evans, Ph.D. In recognition of his gift, the building that houses MU-COM and the Alan and Sue Leighton School of Nursing was named the Michael A. Evans Center for Health Sciences.

MU-COM has and continues to receive support from both clinical and non-clinical partners throughout the state. Many of our affiliated hospitals and non-clinical partner are recognized throughout the Evans Center.

The following partners have committed financial or other resources toward the development of the Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

OPTI Partnership

MU-COM is an academic partner of the Osteopathic Postdoctoral Training Institution (OPTI) at Michigan State University (Statewide Campus System). SCS has 37 member institutions offering predoctoral and postdoctoral training for osteopathic students and residents.
