Future Knights on Campus

by Katie Bradley | Apr 26, 2016

Knights 2020Marian University welcomed 122 future Knights and 155 family guests to campus for Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR) on Friday, April 22, 2016.

At SOAR, accepted students (incoming freshmen and transfer students) get their first taste of college at Marian University, learning everything from the fight song to their schedule for the fall. They have the opportunity to talk to current students, meet with professors, learn about the many resources available to students, and connect with their future classmates.

The day also includes special sessions for family members.

In the coming summer months, the university will host a few more SOARs, including two overnight orientations (June 13-14; June 23-24) and a day for transfer students on July 19.
