International Student Orientation

outside circleNew student orientation activities are planned to help you learn about Marian University and meet new friends. Orientation is especially important for international students because it provides you with an opportunity to better understand immigration requirements and life in the United States.

Attending a new student orientation session is mandatory for all new F-1 and J-1 international students.

  • If you are an undergraduate international student beginning classes in fall 2020, you will participate in two days of orientation. The first day, you will attend International Student Orientation on August 19 starting at 8:30 a.m. You'll also attend a required Student Orientation, Academic Advising, And Registration (SOAR) session on August 20.
  • If you are a graduate international student, your graduate advisor will contact you with your orientation date. If your schedule allows, you may want to plan to attend the undergraduate international student orientation.

We look forward to meeting you, introducing you to current students and faculty, and welcoming you to our campus community.
