International Student Orientation

New student orientation activities are planned to help you learn about Marian University and meet new friends. Orientation is especially important for international students because it provides you with an opportunity to better understand immigration requirements and life in the United States.

Attending a new student orientation session is mandatory for all new F-1 and J-1 international students.

  • If you are an undergraduate international student beginning classes in fall 2018, you will participate in two days of orientation. The first day, you will attend International Student Orientation  on August 15 starting at 8:30 a.m. You'll also attend a required Student Orientation, Academic Advising, And Registration (SOAR) session on August 16.
  • If you are a graduate international student, your graduate advisor will contact you with your orientation date.
