International Student Orientation

Orientation is the best time to learn about Marian University's campus community and meet new friends! Orientation is especially important for international students because it provides an opportunity to better understand immigration requirements and life in the United States.

Attending a new student orientation session is mandatory for all new F-1 and J-1 international students.

  • If you are an undergraduate international student beginning classes in spring 2018, you will participate in two days of orientation. The first day, you will attend the required Student Orientation And Registration (SOAR) session on January 4. International Student Orientation will be on January 5 starting at 8:30 am.
  • If you are a graduate international student, your graduate advisor will contact you with your orientation date.
