El Festival Mariano

El Festival Mariano took place at Marian University on June 15, 2025, to celebrate faith and culture, as well as the graduation of 41 students from Renovación.

Encuentro Retreat

The journey begins with a retreat experience. Trained coaches guide your leadership team through reflection, prayer, and inspiration, fostering unity across diversity through encounter, prayer, and discernment.

Certificate Education

Leaders move into a flexible education phase featuring pre-recorded materials and facilitated group discussions. This phase equips your lay leaders with essential knowledge and skills to become vital bridge-builders in intercultural parishes.

Coaching for Discernment

High-contact online coaching helps leaders understand their unique contexts, recognize spiritual gifts, and develop concrete mission plans using “Design Thinking” integrated with rich Catholic tradition and Scripture.

Ongoing Empowerment

Sustainable learning is key. We offer ongoing online Communities of Practice and a virtual library of courses to nurture ongoing reflection and mutual support as leaders apply their formation in real parish life.

¿Por qué Renovación?

La Iniciativa de Renovación (Parish Renewal) está dirigida a renovar parroquias católicas al empoderar a sus líderes misioneros.

First Cohort of Renovación 2023 and 2025

Renovación has engaged 12 Latino-serving parishes in a process of parish renewal. Through its five pillars, Renovación (spiritual renewal), Discernimiento (discernment), Comunidad (communal belonging), Empoderamiento (lay empowerment), and Educación (theological formation), the program has equipped pastors, lay leaders, and parish teams to reimagine ministry in ways that respond to the new changing realities of our time. Marian believes Renovación must continue, not only because it is producing results, but because God is working through it. Compelling evidence is found in the testimonies of pastors and lay leaders (refer to "El Festival" video). Marian now seeks to scale Renovación in order to serve a broader range of parishes, while preserving the essential elements that have made the program effective. Join us in uplifting Latino-serving communities!

Jubilee in Rome

Carmen Ramos, Director of Renovación, traveled to Rome for the Jubilee celebrations, where Pope Leo XIV celebrated Mass on Oct. 5 for the Jubilee of Migrants and the Jubilee of the Missions. In his homily, the Pope emphasized that welcoming migrants is an essential part of the Church's ongoing work in fostering inclusive faith communities.
