Marian University Preach All Ways Initiative
The Preach All Ways initiative is rooted in the example of St. Francis, who preached every day, preached everywhere, and preached always. We empower lay Catholics of all ages to testify from the holy ground of their lives, preach the Gospel in every space open to them, and proclaim Good News to the world with boldness, compassion, and skill.
Participants in Preach All Ways initiatives come from all walks of life, all educational backgrounds, and all stages of the faith journey. They participate from across the US and around the world. They are people just like you, who want to grow in faith, knowledge, and skills as disciples of Christ!
75% of the students participating in a Preach Challenge said the experience helped them grow in faith and confidence, 100% would recommend a Preach Challenge to a friend, and 100% want to continue to share their testimony with others.

Dr. Susan McGurgan is the Director of the Preach All Ways Initiative and Associate Professor of Theology at Marian University. She earned an MA in Pastoral Ministry and a D.Min. in Preaching and is active in the Catholic Association of Teachers of Homiletics and the Academy of Homiletics. She has extensive experience teaching pastoral studies and forming lay men and women to be transformative leaders for the Church and community.
