Share Your Joy for the Gospel with the Preach All Ways Challenge

How it Works

What is It?

The Preach All Ways Challenge is a compelling preaching opportunity for high school and college students to share the good news of God at work in their lives.

Can Youth Preach?

Yes! Only priests and deacons can preach at mass, but all are called to share the good news. When you reflect on scripture, prepare your thoughts, and tell God's story - that's preaching.

What is the Process?

First, you need to apply at NCYC or marian.edu/nec. Next, you will be asked to submit a short message. From there, you will be given help by Marian University coaches to hone your message.

Will I Preach at NEC?

Up to 25 high school and college students will be chosen to share their message at the National Eucharistic Congress (NEC) in Indianapolis and participate in the Marian University pilgrimage from July 17 through 21. If selected you:

  • will be mentored via Zoom by experienced preachers from Marian University and around the country to help you hone your message and affirm your gifts in preparation for the NEC.
  • will be expected to participate in the Marian University Pilgrimage. Registration fees for pilgrimage will be covered by Marian University.
  • may apply for a scholarship for travel expenses (scholarship applications will be available after May 1).

You may email preach@marian.edu if you have any questions.
