Shem Unger, Ph.D., teaches Bio 214 Microbiology, where he engages online students in the rich, biodiverse world of microorganisms and their role in human health and medical application.
He primarily leads discussions across students on topics diverse as the role of science communication and medical health, disease and ethics, as well as standard microbial methods for assessing bacteria, fungi, and viruses.
