Bio 

Salomon Turgman Cohen, Ph.D., is an associate professor of chemical engineering and inaugural department chair of the Department of Biomedical, Chemical, and Mechanical Engineering. He is committed to making sure students have the best educational experience in their chosen fields. Dr. Turgman Cohen has taught most of the chemical engineering curriculum and several general engineering courses. His research focuses on using computational tools and molecular simulation to gain insight into complex scientific and engineering problems and their solutions. 

 Dr. Turgman Cohen is passionate about educating the next generation of engineers that can leverage computers to work efficiently and effectively, no matter what engineering field. Before joining Marian University, Dr. Turgman Cohen taught for nine years at Kettering University in Flint, Michigan.
