My master's thesis examined the intersection of homelessness stigma and military trauma. My doctoral dissertation investigated the predictors and outcomes of meaningful work, including gratitude, life satisfaction, and organizational commitment. I have also conducted research on career calling and Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT). My current scholarship focuses on well-being and on program development and evaluation. I enjoy mentoring students, whether by supporting them as they develop their own research or by involving them in my ongoing projects.

Clinically, I specialize in the treatment of anxiety and trauma-related disorders, particularly complex and relational trauma. As a generalist by training, I have also worked with clients presenting with a wide range of concerns, including dissociative disorders, mood disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, co-occurring substance use, and interpersonal relationship challenges. I tend to be eclectic in my approach to psychotherapy often pulling from CBT/DBT/ACT, process-experiential/emotion-focused therapies, and somatic-oriented therapies depending on client needs. In addition, I have experience conducting disability evaluations for military veterans. I am deeply passionate about promoting well-being and have facilitated workshops on principles of positive psychology.
