Pat Austin, M.S.

Biography

I'm a native Hoosier, born and raised in Lake County and transferred to the Indianapolis area for school. My sister attended Marian, and I have loved the school ever since. I have a bachelor's in chemistry and a master's in pharmaceutical science from Butler University, plus a master's in environmental science from Indiana University.

I work for the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, doing air pollution work. My experience is in general environmental compliance for both the private and public sectors (primarily hazardous waste and air compliance). I also have experience working in industrial labs for the private sector.
