Natalie Tucker

Biography: Natalie Tucker, Ph.D., serves as vice president and academic dean at Marian University’s Ancilla College, where she provides strategic leadership for all academic programs and faculty. She has worked at Marian University’s Ancilla College for the past four years, previously serving as associate professor of agriculture and department head. Before that, she taught agriculture and science courses as an adjunct faculty member at Ancilla College for seven years. 

Dr. Tucker’s career includes over a decade at Purdue University, where she worked in academic advising and instruction within the College of Agriculture and served as a Purdue extension director and 4-H youth development educator in Pulaski County. In addition to her academic background, she owned and operated NLD Contractual Services, specializing in court program development, specialty court initiatives, and grant writing. 

She currently serves as chair of the Higher Education Committee for the South Bend Regional Partnership (SERP) and sits on its Board of Directors. As vice president and academic dean, Dr. Tucker oversees all academic programming, faculty leadership, and administrative operations at Marian University’s Ancilla College. She is also actively involved in grant development, advancement efforts, and several university-wide committees.

Courses Taught: Agriculture Business, Animal Science, Agriculture Sales, Capstone Course, FYS Course History of the American Presidency, Indiana History, LIFE Manufacturing Leadership Program 

Presentations and Professional Experience: Through her work with the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative (JDAI) and other justice-related programs, Dr. Tucker has presented at numerous state and national conferences. Her presentation topics include: 

  • JDAI in Rural Communities 
  • Truancy Program Development in Rural Communities 

Personal Life: Dr. Tucker lives in northern Indiana with her husband, a school principal, and their three children.
