Bio 

Mohammad Shokrolah Shirazi, Ph.D., is currently an assistant professor of computer engineering in the E. S. Witchger School of Engineering at Marian University. Prior to joining Marian University, he worked as an assistant professor at the University of Indianapolis (2019-2023) and visiting assistant professor at Cleveland State University (2016-19). 

Dr. Shirazi's research is in computer vision, machine learning, embedded systems and their applications in intelligent transportation systems, robotics, agriculture, and health. His dissertation "Vision-based Intersection Monitoring: Behavior Analysis & Safety Issues'' received two awards as the second-winner place for UNLV, College of Engineering and the IEEE ITSS Best Dissertation Award in 2016.
