Bio 

Miranda Schroeder’s diverse marketing and business background allows her to bring engaging, real-life experience into the classroom. Her goal is to prepare students for life beyond the classroom. 
 
She studied business administration and marketing at Trine University. After receiving her bachelor's degree, she went on to work as a marketing specialist in the telecommunications software industry. While working full-time, she attended Ball State University to earn her MBA with the hopes of someday becoming a college professor. 
 
After working as a marketing specialist, she later transitioned to the medical device industry where she worked for Helmer Scientific (now Trane Technologies) as a segment marketing manager. From there, she went on to work as a senior marketing manager in the veterinary medical device space before achieving her dream of becoming fully self-employed. 
 
Today, Schroeder owns and operates Thoughtfully Designed, a premier wedding planning and design company. The Thoughtfully Designed team handles up to 50 weddings per year including everything from booking vendors, complex logistics, to overall experience and design.

Schroeder’s husband is a Marian University alumnus. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading non-fiction, and dabbling in DIY and decor projects around the house.
