Michelle Solik, MD, MS, FACP

Bio

Michelle Solik, MD, MS, FACP, earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Xavier University in 2009, followed by a Master of Science in Cardiovascular Physiology from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2010. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in 2014.

She completed her Internal Medicine residency, including serving as Chief Resident, at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis in 2017. Following residency, she joined the Internal Medicine faculty at Ascension, working as both a hospitalist and a clinic educator. Dr. Solik entered the world of Graduate Medical Education as the Associate Program Director for the Transitional Year residency in 2019 and became the program director in 2021.

Her leadership experience includes service on the Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine (APDIM) committee and presenting workshops at regional and national conferences on topics including professional development, well-being, and culture change. Her academic interests are focused on professional formation and mentorship of learners.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Solik enjoys spending time outdoors with her sons William and Samuel, cooking with her husband Chad, and relearning the piano.
