Biography
Megan Gooley is an assistant professor of theology with a PhD in Theology from Fordham University, where she focused in theological and social ethics. Her dissertation examines the underlying substantive visions of the human person and human flourishing in international development paradigms, with particular attention to the Catholic Social Tradition’s integral human development paradigm. Her research also analyzes how Catholic Relief Services, the official development agency of the U.S. Catholic Church, translates its theoretical commitments to Catholic Social Teaching into concrete programs and practices. Her research interests also include economic ethics, global bioethics, and peace studies.
