Professional Background:

Laura Nolan, EdD, OTR, BCP, CAS serves as the doctoral capstone coordinator and clinical assistant professor for Marian University’s Occupational Therapy Graduate Programs. In this role, she manages and oversees the doctoral capstone project and experiential learning component for the entry-level OTD program.

Dr. Nolan brings a variety of clinical experiences across pediatric settings, including school-based practice and early intervention. She continues to practice as a clinical occupational therapist at a specialized preschool for children who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Dr. Nolan is the founder of an adaptive dance program for children with disabilities in Whitestown, IN. She serves as a coach for an adaptive baseball team and volunteers with ILADD in Zionsville, IN. Her scholarship and program development focuses on adaptive dance, adaptive recreation, and neurodiversity-affirming occupational therapy practice.
