Biography:
Kenneth Franklin is the founding director of the Information Technology Program and serves as both director of information technology and assistant professor at Marian University’s Saint Joseph’s College campus. With more than 20 years of experience in technology, higher education, and entrepreneurship, he has led the creation of degree programs in cybersecurity and information technology, aligning them with workforce and industry needs.
As director of IT, he oversees secure and innovative technology infrastructure that enhances teaching, learning, and operations. He also mentors students pursuing careers in technology and entrepreneurship.
Franklin is currently leading the development of four technology labs and workforce initiatives in support of TechPoint’s Mission41K, Indiana’s effort to add 41,000 tech professionals by 2030. He is recognized for his commitment to bridging education and industry to create meaningful career pathways.
