Jill Neidlinger, M.Ed

Jill Neidlinger is entering her 26th year of teaching at Marian University’s Ancilla College, where she serves as assistant professor of mathematics and developmental studies. She is dedicated to fostering student success through engaging instruction and individualized support, helping students build confidence, mastery, and lifelong learning skills. 

In addition to teaching, Neidlinger directs the Math Lab at the Plymouth campus, providing tutoring and academic support in mathematics, science, and nursing courses. She equips students with the tools and resources needed to excel in rigorous programs of study. Her commitment to teaching and service has been recognized through several honors, including the Realizing the Dream Award from Independent Colleges of Indiana and the Outstanding Alumni Award from Ancilla College. 

Jill specializes in developmental education, guiding students through challenges in mathematics and equipping them with the tools they need to succeed in more advanced coursework. She is particularly committed to helping students discover their potential, fostering both academic growth and self-assurance in their problem-solving abilities. She teaches a variety of courses, including Intermediate Algebra and Mathematics for Elementary Teachers, emphasizing a supportive classroom environment where students can strengthen foundational skills and gain confidence in problem-solving.

Outside the classroom, Jill is actively involved in community service through Lions Clubs International, earning the Lion of the Year Award and the President’s Certificate of Appreciation for distinguished service. She is also a fan of Star Warsand Harry Potter, enjoys spending time with family and friends, and fondly remembers her time living in Anchorage, Alaska, where she embraced the unique experiences of life in the Last Frontier. 

Jill’s work in education and the community reflects her lifelong commitment to student achievement, service, and the mission of Marian University’s Ancilla College.
