Jeremy Jones, DO, began his career as an assistant professor at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences (OSU-CHS) in the Department of Pediatrics, where he coordinated medical student clerkships and served on committees including academics, wellness, public relations, and alumni outreach for the OSUMC and Osteopathic Medical Education Consortium of Oklahoma (OMECO) pediatric residency programs. He also developed the osteopathic manipulative medicine curriculum and simulation curriculum for these programs. 

Since joining MU-WCOM, Dr. Jones has facilitated Osteopathic Principles and Practice and Introduction to Clinical Medicine laboratory sessions and debriefs. He coordinates the Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine “Hands On” lectures and labs and leads small group sessions for third-year students in the Osteopathic Principles and Practice 5 (OPP5) course. Additionally, he facilitates Clinical Colloquium courses for third-year students and COMLEX Level 2PE Formative Assessments for fourth-year students. Dr. Jones also delivers pediatrics-focused lectures across the first- and second-year systems courses and is actively involved in implementing the San Damiano Scholars Program at MU-WCOM.

Dr. Jones regularly presents at local, state, regional, and national professional conferences, delivering content ranging from interactive classroom lectures to systems-based procedural simulations. His teaching covers a wide range of topics, including pediatric asthma and clinic-based spirometry, physician resilience through the Little Way of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus, and clinical teaching using illness scripts and student-driven patient presentations. His presentations have been consistently requested by organizations such as the OSU-CHS Office of Continuing Medical Education, the Indiana Osteopathic Association (IOA), and the Catholic Medical Association (CMA) for their national Annual Education Conference. 

Personal Interests: 

Dr. Jones enjoys his Catholic faith, daily Mass, St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus, Carmelite spirituality, cooking, and chess. He lives in Indianapolis with his wife, Maria Kayla, and their three daughters: Gemma Rose, Mary Agnes, and Lucy Cecilia.
