Denise Ferrell, DNP, RN

Biography

Denise Ferrell, DNP, RN, has joined LSON as the Associate Dean of Strategic and Innovative Partnerships and Collaborations. Dr. Ferrell earned her BSN and MSN from the University of Indianapolis and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Purdue University. Her passions are three-fold: 1) educate students through a variety of teaching methods to promote critical thinking in community/public health, 2) improve health outcomes among underserved populations in national and international areas and, 3) empower communities to improve health behaviors through education and promotion in the intra/post COVID-19 era.
