Bio 

Chris Dixon teaches theology in Marian University’s Department of Theology and for Marian University Online, where he has been the faculty lead for theology. He also teaches history and philosophy at Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana.  

Previously, Dixon held the positions of director of faith formation at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kokomo, Indiana, and pastoral associate at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Moorestown, New Jersey. He has taught in the Permanent Diaconate Formation Program of the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana. He was a pastor in the United Methodist Church.

Professional Service and Affiliations 

Dixon has served on the Religion Curriculum Committee for the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana, the Implementation Team for the New Jersey Catholic Bishops' Revised Common Policy on Marriage, and was an adult faith formation consultant and an annulment advocate for the Diocese of Trenton.  

At Marian University, he has helped organize and participated in an interreligious panel discussion on Christianity and Islam.

Dixon is married to his wife Patricia. They have five children and four grandchildren.
