A Crawfordsville, Indiana native, Alysa graduated from North Montgomery High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Ministry. She then graduated Liberty University with a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling with a concentration in Life Coaching.
Prior to joining the undergraduate admission team at Marian, Alysa worked in social work at nonprofit organizations in Denver and Indianapolis. She served in leadership positions and helped launch new programs. She is experienced in community and career development, and walking alongside individuals as they exit poverty.
In college admissions, Alysa is able to utilize her blend of administrative and interpersonal skills. She is dedicated to supporting students on their transfer journey. She likes working in the close-knit and faith-filled community of Marian that is brimming with a variety of opportunities.
Alysa lives in Beech Grove with her husband. She enjoys family time, walks, and traveling with her husband.

- My favorite college memory is working in the college library for work-study. I met my husband while working in that library.
Best advice...
- Examine the community, environment, and culture of the school. Ask yourself, “Is this a place where I can sharpen my skills and contribute my talents? Will this community challenge me and help me to grow?” Also talk with students and alumni to gain insight from their experience.
