Biography
My name is Allison Babij and I am an assistant professor of chemistry. I earned bachelor's degrees in chemistry and German from Butler University, then continued to the University of Michigan where I earned a Ph.D. in organic chemistry. Prior to joining Marian's faculty, my teaching experience included periods at Gonzaga University and Ivy Tech Community College. At Marian, I teach general and organic chemistry courses. I am passionate about relating chemistry to life outside of class and about learning new methods for teaching and helping students learn. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and baking, reading, and practicing yoga.
