Assistant Director of the Flanner Community Writing Center
Marian University Writing Center, Mother Theresa Hackelmeier Memorial Library
KC Chan-Brose's research focus in cultural rhetorics is characterized by an embodied, relational, and material practice which utilizes practices such as storytelling, cooking, gardening, and making to conduct qualitative research within cultural communities. Combined with a decade of writing center praxis, KC's scholarly focus has made her passionate about the social, environmental, cultural, psychological, and educational aspects of community wellness. She believes it is our responsibility as educators to teach the next generation to view knowledge as constellative and collaboratively constructed within cultural communities.
KC aims to be a personal and professional feminist mentor for young women- particularly for her students and her 3 daughters.
