Friday August 20 -- Rehearsal 5pm-9pm—music focus
Saturday August 21 – Rehearsal 9am – 4pm (break for lunch 12-1 on your own)
Regular Rehearsals -- Tuesday 7-9pm and Friday 2:30-4:30pm through November 13.
9/4—1:05pm Kickoff (8-10am rehearsal on field)
Funk Show (trumpet day)—In the Stone (Earth Wind & Fire), Bless The Lord (Anthony Brown) featuring local high school choir director and choir, ending with September (Earth, Wind, & Fire).
Trumpet Day—inviting HS trumpet players for a clinic on Friday night and playing for the game Saturday.
9/25—1:05pm Kickoff (8-10am rehearsal on field)
Band Day with guest artist Matt Hanzelka (trombone player from Young Blood Brass Band)—Young Blood Brass Band arrangements (Brooklyn, Old Rugged Cross, His Eye is On the Sparrow, Human Nature—Michael Jackson)
HS Band Day with guest trombone soloist, Matt Hanzelka, funk bass player, and drummer.
10/16— 6:05pm Kickoff (rehearsal time TBA)
Halloween Music—Frankenstein, Oogie Boogie, This is Halloween, I Put a Spell on You (special guest Winnifred Sanderson)
10/23— 1:05pm Kickoff (8-10am rehearsal on field) Homecoming
Halloween Music show repeat with BAND ALUMNI performing alongside us.
11/13— 1:05pm Kickoff (8-10am rehearsal on field) Senior Day
Swing Show —Jump Jive and Wail (Brian Setzer Band), Go Daddy-O (big Bad Voodoo Daddy), Crazy Equals Genius (Panic at the Disco)
Saxophone day -- featuring saxophone faculty, local jazz saxophonist Rob Dixon, and a plethora of high school saxophone players!
