Welcome Committee
Marian University's Welcome Committee helps new international students have a smooth and successful campus transition. As a committee member, you will:
- Communicate with international students before they arrive on campus, answering questions about student life, campus resources, and the city of Indianapolis.
- Guide new students through their first few days of classes, helping them navigate campus and community systems and utilize student resources.
- Greet new students at the airport and transport them to their housing.

International Education Week
- At Marian University, we celebrate International Education Week with a variety of activities, events, lectures, and food from around the world!
- We are planning another great celebration, so if you'd like to get involved, contact us at international@marian.edu.
International Friendship Program
- The International Friendship Program pairs international students with Marian University faculty and staff in order for mentoring, fellowship, and fun.
- The program is mutually beneficial for students and faculty/staff who want to enhance intercultural communication by understanding and learning about various cultural, educational, and religious practices and traditions an increasingly global world.
- Students and faculty/staff partners should plan to meet at least once per month.

World Classroom
International students are invited to talk about their home country and culture through panel discussions and classroom conversations.
International Club
