JumpStart Summer Bridge Program

Wednesday, August 14 to Friday, August 16, 2024

JumpStart is a summer bridge program the week before classes start in August, focusing on academic preparation, leadership, wellness, and community building. The program is designed to ease the transition into university life for students while equipping them with the necessary skills and support to excel in their first year.

We'll post our full schedule here this summer so you can see everything we'll be doing at JumpStart

At JumpStart, You Will:

  • Participate in academic skill-building sessions and leadership workshops.
  • Build connections with fellow incoming students, student mentors, staff, and faculty.
  • Learn about how you can excel during your time at Marian.
  • Get familiarized with campus and resources you can utilize.
  • Connect with an academic coach who you will work with throughout your first year.

Registration and Dates to Know

JumpStart is from Wednesday, August 14 to Friday, August 16. Residential students in the program can move-in early on Wednesday prior to our opening session. Students participating in another early move-in program (fall athletics, San Damiano Scholars, 21st Century Scholar week, Marian Academy) are not able to participate.

Please complete the following form to register for our JumpStart program this year. We have a limited number of spaces, so we recommend registering early to guarantee your spot.
