JumpStart Summer Bridge Program

Monday, August 14 to Friday, August 18, 2023

JumpStart is a summer bridge program the week before classes start in August, focusing on academic preparation, leadership, wellness, and community building. The program is designed to ease the transition into university life for students while equipping them with the necessary skills and support to excel in their first year.

At JumpStart, You Will:

  • Participate in academic skill-building sessions and leadership workshops.
  • Build connections with fellow incoming students, student mentors, staff, and faculty.
  • Learn about how you can excel during your time at Marian.
  • Get familiarized with campus and resources you can utilize.
  • Connect with an academic coach who you will work with throughout your first year.

Registration and Dates to Know

JumpStart is from Monday, August 14 to Friday, August 18. Residential students in the program can move-in early on Monday prior to our opening session. Students participating in another early move-in program are not able to participate.

Please complete the following form to apply to be part of our JumpStart program this year.

Apply to be part of JumpStart

We have a limited number of spots for students to participate in JumpStart. Should we have more applications than space, we will be prioritizing the applications from students who registered earlier, those who aren't already invited to participate in another summer bridge program, and students who will benefit most from the academic preparedness and skill-building components of the program.

JumpStart applications close Friday, July 14 at 3 p,m. We will confirm if we have a spot for you in mid-July.
