Academic Success Coaching

The Center for Academic Success and Engagement (CASE) offers academic success coaching for students who want to develop or refine their academic skills.

Academic success coaches are professional staff members who meet one-on-one with students.  Our purpose is to help students develop action plans and identify necessary steps to facilitate academic success.  Based on a student's needs, our success coaches will explore topics such as:

  • Study Strategies
  • Learning Preferences
  • Time Management
  • Goal Setting
  • Academic and Student Support Resources
  • Campus Engagement

Students have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a professional staff member. The length, frequency and type of coaching offered will be based on the student’s needs and preferences.  Some students choose to meet with their academic success coach weekly, while others choose to meet monthly.  Most meetings occur on-campus, during regular business hours.  However, students may choose alternative forms of coaching (telephone, online/video).
