Tuition and Fee Payment Policy

Tuition Due Dates

Tuition, fees, and room and board payments for all programs except for MAP are due on the following dates. Tuition for courses taken in the MAP program are due in full on the first day of each class. For a course schedule, course start dates and other information on the MAP program, click here.

  • July 15th for fall semester
  • December 15th for spring semester
  • The first day of summer session for that session only

Student bills are available through the MUHUB student portal.  Payments may be made and payment plans may be set up through MUHUB under the 'Student Finance' tab.

Late Fees

Students who do not submit payment by the due dates above, or who are not enrolled in a monthly payment plan with Nelnet (formerly Tuition Management Systems, Inc.) are charged a late fee. Please note that if monthly Nelnet payments are not made by scheduled dates, Nelnet also assesses a late payment fee.

Online Access to Student Accounts

New students receive access information for the MUHUB student portal during orientation, or, if they do not attend orientation, the university sends access information to the student’s home address.

Students may use MUHUB to view the bill and make payments online. Within the portal, students should choose the student finance link to review charges and financial aid applied to the balance.

If a student loses his or her account information, he or she may request help with an online ticket, helpdesk@marian.edu, or (317) 955-6444.

Tuition Insurance

Marian University offers tuition insurance to students through Grad Guard. Students are given the opportunity to enroll in tuition insurance each semester prior to the first day of classes. More information about tuition insurance may be reviewed here
