How to Apply for Financial Aid

Applying for financial aid at Marian University is easy!

  • If you are a new student, apply and be accepted for admission to Marian University.
  • File your 2017-18 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.gov. While you are a student, you will complete the FAFSA each year so your eligibility for federal and state aid can be determined.
  • Enter Marian University's school code 001821 where prompted on the FAFSA form.
  • If you need assistance, contact the Office of Financial Aid at 800.834.5494, 317.955.6040, or finaid@marian.edu.

Important notes

Your FAFSA must be received by March 10 in order to ensure you are considered for State of Indiana financial aid and grant programs.

  • If you are only applying for Marian University aid, you are not required to file the FAFSA although we strongly encourage you to do so since FAFSA information is also used to determine your eligibility for student loans.
  • We will notify you if you are required to provide the university with a copy of your federal income tax forms.
