New Student Orientation

Congratulations on your decision to attend Marian University! The next four years will be among the most exciting and memorable of your life. 

Your next step is to attend one of our New Student Orientation programs. During Orientation, you will learn everything you'll need to know for your transition to Marian and how to thrive here as a student. You'll also register for your first semester of classes and get to know other new students, current students, and faculty. 

Register for Winter Orientation (Spring 2027 students)

Register for sUMMER Orientation (fall 2027 students)

Students starting classes in January will be able to register for our winter program in early January. 

• Monday, January 4, 2027 (one-day orientation)

Students starting classes in August will be able to register for one of our summer programs. New Student Orientation programs this summer will take place on the following dates:

• Thursday, May 20, 2027 (one-day orientation)
• Thursday-Friday, June 17-18, 2027 (two-day overnight orientation)
• Monday-Tuesday, June 21-22, 2027 (two-day overnight orientation)
• Thursday, July 8, 2027 (virtual orientation) - Only available to international & out-of-state students
• Tuesday, July 13, 2027 (one-day orientation)
• Wednesday, July 14, 2027 (one-day orientation)

*An orientation fee is applied to the first semester bill for all fall incoming students, which covers meals, housing, and programming during in-person orientation programs and Welcome Week. For 2026-2027, the fee will be $75 if attending a one-day orientation and $95 for a two-day orientation.
