New Student Orientation - Transfer Students

You might already be familiar with the college experience, but may be wondering what Marian will have to offer you and how your experience will be different here. At orientation, you'll become more familiar with Marian University and our campus community, while you complete required steps for enrollment. After orientation, you'll be ready to hit the ground running when you return for the start of classes.

Spring 2026 Students

Fall 2026 Students

Registration for our summer programs will open in October. To register, please click here to view all of our available orientation dates on the Events page.

Transfer students have their own orientation day in July that we encourage you to register for if that day works for you. Although you're welcome to attend any of the summer orientation days, the July Transfer Day will be a shorter day geared more toward the needs of our incoming transfer students.

If you'd prefer another date, you're welcome to participate in any of the summer programs. These dates are more focused on the experience of incoming freshmen, but will still be fully applicable to you.

2026 summer programs take place on the following dates:

  • Wednesday-Thursday, May 27-28, 2026 (two-day overnight orientation)
  • Friday, May 29, 2026 (one-day orientation)
