  • Provide all official high school and college transcripts; and 
  • Have one of the following: 
    • a GPA of 2.00 on a 4.00 scale from the last college attended;
    • a high school GPA of 2.30 on a 4.00 scale; 
    • a GED score of 51 or above; or a passing TASC score.

For the RN to BSN program, you must:

  • Have an Associate Degree or diploma with a major in nursing from a NLNAC accredited program (non-NLNAC accredited program will be reviewed.)
  • Have an active RN license; 
  • Have a GPA of 2.50 on a 4.00 scale from a prior nursing program; and 
  • Provide all official college transcripts.
  • Students earning a Marian University nursing degree should talk with their advisor prior to registering for MAP classes.

How soon can I start?

Marian’s Adult Program classes are offered year-round. Once you are admitted, you can begin your coursework immediately. Not all classes are offered each term, so be sure to talk with your advisor to set your schedule.

If you prefer, you can complete the online application and submit your $40 application fee. Remember you must provide an official copy of your college or high school transcripts or GED certificate as part of the admission process.

Financial aid

A Marian University degree is a great investment and the staff at the Office of Financial Aid is looking forward to assisting you in financing your college education.  In order to qualify for financial aid, students taking MAP classes must be degree seeking at Marian University.
