MU COM Transcript Requests

General Transcript Information  

  • An official transcript is a comprehensive record of all courses completed at Marian University.
  • Official transcripts are printed on security paper and are embossed with the Marian University seal and signature of the Registrar.
  • Any student whose account is clear of any holds may obtain a copy of his or her official transcript. If you wish to settle your financial obligations prior to requesting an official transcript, contact the Business Office at (317) 955-6020.
  • The request may be submitted in person or using the ONLINE ORDERING SERVICE.
  • Phone requests are not accepted; however, if you have questions, you may call 317.955.6050.
  • Transcripts may be sent via U.S. Mail, fax, picked up in person, or by certified PDF Delivery if requesting through our online ordering system
  • Fees can be paid by cash, check, money order, or credit card. Orders for certified PDF delivery of transcripts must be paid for by credit card through the online ordering system.
  • It is a violation of federal law to release a copy of a transcript without the student's specific authorization. 
  • Please note that your transcript will be printed / uploaded as it stands at the time of your request. You will need to make a new request, with payment, if / when classes or grades are added to your record.

Transcripts for Residency Programs

Please request all transcripts for residency program applications 30 days prior to your residency application deadline. This will allow ample time for processing. Standard processing time is 2-3 business days but can take longer during peak times. 

Visiting Student Application Service (VSAS) or Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) Transcript Uploads

Our ONLINE ORDERING SERVICE is the most simplified way to request an official transcript to be uploaded to the VSAS or ERAS website. You will be prompted to create an account and you will use your account for all future transcript requests. On the “Select Documents” page you will click on the link titled Transcript Uploads for currently enrolled Dr. of Osteopathic medical students only. Follow the steps on this page to order a VSAS or ERAS transcript upload. Standard processing time is 2-3 business days but can take longer during peak times.

Special Instructions for VSAS: The VSAS website has recently been updated. Students are required to submit an application through VSAS first AND then one request through Parchment the ONLINE ORDERING SERVICE. Do not place multiple orders in Parchment for VSAS. Once the transcript is uploaded, it will be used for any current and future VSAS applications submitted for the semester. Please be aware that not all VSAS applications have a transcript requirement. If a transcript is not required a Parchment request is not needed.  PLEASE NOTE: the Registrar's Office does not have the ability to upload a new or edited transcript after the first upload is completed. Please be sure to view your transcript in CAMS before requesting an upload.

Medical Operational Data System (MODS) Transcript Uploads

Our ONLINE ORDERING SERVICE is the most simplified way to request an official transcript to be uploaded to MODS website for the military GME application. You will be prompted to create an account and you will use your account for all future transcript requests. On the “Select Documents” page you will click on the link titled Transcript Uploads for currently enrolled Dr. of Osteopathic medical students only. Follow the steps on this page to order a MODS transcript upload. Standard processing time is 2-3 business days but can take longer during peak times.

Immediate / Same Day Transcript Processing

If you need an immediate / same day transcript processed you are required to come to the office in person to make the request. All orders must be received by 3pm EST during normal business hours.
