Mary Carmen recently completed a study-abroad experience in Spain and was the first student from Marian to study abroad for an entire academic year. She completed the Spanish Language & Liberal Arts program through Cultural Experiences Abroad (CEA) and was generously awarded a Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship that made her experience possible. While abroad, Mary Carmen enjoyed her time making friends, participating in an authentic cultural exchange, and adapting to a new lifestyle.
