Biography

Mrs. Ricker started her career as an EMT and then transitioned to nursing by obtaining an Associate of Science in Nursing from Florida SouthWestern State College in 2009. Believing that learning is a lifelong process, she continued her education, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Central Florida, and is currently working on a Doctorate of Education in Instructional Leadership for Nurse Educators at the University of Alabama. Her nursing experience includes working in cardiovascular intensive care, progressive care, and medical-surgical nursing.
