Malarney teaches Professional Role Socialization Courses, Dosage Calculation, Community Health, Nutrition, Legal and Ethical Issues in Nursing, but my primary focus is on Psychiatric Nursing

My practice background: Medical-surgical nursing and Psychiatric Mental-Health Nursing

• University: Former member of the Professional Development Committee; Member of the search committee for a full-time professor in Theology; Member of the search committee for the Dean of the SON;  former member of the IRB; Faculty Representative at the HLC conference in June '11, current member of the university faculty TLC (Teaching and Learning Committee).  Served as a member of the Planning Committee on Rebuild My Church Initiatives (Spring of 2012)
• SON Committees:  Current member of the Resource Committee, Former Chair of the Curriculum Committee - (work on complete curricular revision - course development, accreditation, and implementation of changes);  Former chair of the Student Events Committee); former Member of the of the Search and Screen Committee
