Biography
Dr. Fox attended Virginia Tech for her undergraduate degree in biological sciences. She then went on to receive her RN and MSN from Vanderbilt University, followed by her DNP from Georgetown University. She has held a clinical faculty position at multiple universities and managed outpatient clinics in the Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia area.
Her area of interest includes pediatric health. More specifically, pediatric infectious disease, pediatric mental health, and post-infectious autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders. Her research includes initiatives to better identify Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS) and Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS). In her current role, she serves as full-time faculty in the didactic and clinical setting.
