Courtney Thompson, DNP, CRNA

Biography

Dr. Courtney Thompson is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). She graduated with honors from University of Tennessee Health Science Center with her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in Memphis, Tennessee in 2018. Courtney has been a nurse for over 13 years and practicing anesthesia for five years. Courtney has a wide array of diverse experiences, such as general surgery, obstetrics, neuraxial anesthesia, gynecology, vascular, urology, robotics, pediatric, and spine surgery. Outside of clinical work, Courtney has a true passion for education and preparing the next generation of nurse anesthetists, leading the way to the future of patient care. Personally, Courtney has a strong spiritual foundation and enjoys reading, playing tennis, and enjoying cuddles with her sweet labradoodle-Pearl. Courtney’s favorite quote is "Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today." –Malcolm X.
