You will complete a 27-credit common core of experiential business education consisting of these nine-credit classes taught by School of Business faculty working together to prepare you for real business challenges.
This first-year experience will provide you with a hands-on introduction to business in which you’ll draw upon specific theories, tools, methods, and knowledge. Working as part of a team, you’ll develop a business concept, document your business plan including needed start-up funds, and pitch your idea to local executives. If selected for funding, your team will run your own campus business, receiving both course credit and the profits. You’ll also get experience planning and managing diverse business operations.
